Greek tortoise- how to sex, and to know if hes healthy….?
i have a greek tortoise thats about 5-6 inches long(top of shell by head to butt) he sleeps alot and just puts his head down half way through eating. is that normal?
also how do you know if its a male or female?
what are the best foods, bedding and lights and all that for them?
i currently have him on ground walnut bedding cause he lives with a bearded dragon as well….
and any other info would be great
Why are they being kept together?
The tortoise is Mediterranean, whereas beardies come from Australia. The temps are completely different.
Why don’t people research before doing this?
You need to get the tort out of there asap, into a tortoise table or a well ventilated viv.
Males have longer tales whereas females have short tails and flat shells at the bottom.
